Pinkies out! May's Booch Brewing is getting fancy.
Join us for an unconventional Mother's Day Tea. You can't make kombucha without a Mother, so reserve a Mother for your Mother!
Kombucha is a fermented tea rich in immunity-boosting probiotics, energizing B vitamins, liver detoxifying enzymes and joint-friendly glucosamine. Learn to make this fizzy beverage with Integrative Nutrition Health Coach Rachel Abbett. She will go step-by-step through the process so you can learn the do's and don'ts of fermentation. You will leave with a mason jar full of starter kombucha and a culture (aka SCOBY aka Mother) to take home, and the knowledge to get brewing in your own kitchen.
Rachel will finish the workshop with an all-ages alternative to wine tasting. You'll have the chance to sample various flavors (like the new Ginger Lime from Element Shrub!) and blend your own, too! Treats will be provided by Soozy's Grain-free. Come have some muffins with Mom!
