More Americans are living longer than ever before, and healthily so. However, according to the Alzheimer’s Association’s latest report, the number of Americans with Alzheimer’s dementia is also growing—to a projected 7.2 million by 2025. This means that more of us will eventually be caregivers, seeking resources and making plans for loved ones who require specialized dementia settings and services.
Join Institute on Aging (IOA) for an interactive presentation, moderated by Alison Moritz, Program Director, Enrichment Center at the Presidio, IOA. Our experts will share with us an assortment of dementia and caregiver resources, examine a few family case scenarios, and discuss development of a basic care plan for family caregivers.
