Join local award-winning jazz pianist and vocalist, Mark G. Meadows featuring San Francisco based, Falls Church, VA native, Danielle Wertz, as they pay homage to the one and only, Nat King Cole. In this performance, the music director of Signature Theatre's Ain't Misbehavin' and star of "Jelly's Last Jam" celebrates the songs and music that made Nat King Cole one of the most acclaimed artists of his time. Danielle Wertz was a semi-finalist in the 2015 Thelonious Monk International Jazz Vocals Competition. She took second and third places respectively in the Ella Fitzgerald International, and the Mid-Atlantic vocal competitions. Mark and Danielle will connect the old with the new as they sprinkle in some originals and arrangements alongside Nat King Cole's timeless hits.
