City Council Candidate Forum
Description
Citizens for a Better City in concert with Community Issues Forum (CIF) will co-host and co-sponsor
2 Candidate Forums during the fall local election campaign season:
- 7:30 PM, Wed, September 27th – City Council Candidates: Marybeth Connelly, Ross Litkenhous, Spencer Parsons, Dan Maller, David Snyder, & Dan Sze
- 7:30 PM, Wed, October 25th – School Board Candidates: Greg Anderson, Richard Crespin, Alison Kutchma, Shannon Litton, Shawna Russell, and Lawrence Webb
Both events will be held at the American Legion Hall Post 130, 400 North Oak Street, Falls Church, VA 22046.
The format for the forums is a moderated question and answer session. Ken Feltman will moderate the City Council Forum and Dick McCall the School Board Forum. Questions will be generated by you, the audience members. Each candidate will be asked to answer the same lead-off question, but subsequent questions will be randomly selected out of a hat and will be different for each candidate. Candidate answers will have a time limit. At the end of the Q & A period, candidates will be offered an opportunity to answer a question of their choice or to respond to the previous answer of another candidate.
The CIF will accept questions in advance from community members if the questions are mailed in to:
