Membership

According to a recent study, consumers are 44% more likely to think favorably of and 63% more likely to patronize a business if they know it is a chamber member!  This is according to a nationwide study conducted by The Shapiro Group - the full study is available at http://www.acce.org/index_ektid6416.aspx.

In addition to the image enhancement inherant in Chamber membership, additional benefits include:

Promotion – The Chamber promotes its members via its monthly newsletter “Spotlight”, its twice weekly email announcements “News from the Chamber”, its website and through its advertising in the Falls Church News-Press.

Networking – The Chamber hosts two monthly networking events for its members. Monthly Networking lunches, which typically include a presentation of interest to the business community, are held the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Networking Mixers, which are hosted by Chamber members, are held in the evenings of the 4th Tuesday of the month. The Chamber also conducts a number of special events throughout the year including its Annual Awards Gala and Silent Auction in March, its Mini-Golf Family Fun Night in June, and a business expo in the fall.

Referrals – In addition to making member information available on the website, the Chamber provides referrals upon request. Only Chamber members are recommended to inquiries.

Community Involvement – Through the Chamber, member organizations have access to community events such as FIRSTfriday of Falls Church and opportunities such as the Falls Church City public schools Business In Education Partnership program.

Membership Dues – Membership dues, paid annually, are based on the number of employees.

• 1 - 4 Employees - $250.00

• 5 - 10 Employees - $275.00

• 11 – 25 Employees - $325.00

• 26 - 49 Employees - $375.00

• 50 – 99 Employees - $450.00

• 100 or More Employees - $500.00

• Nonprofit Organizations/Individuals - $150.00

• Governmental Department/Commission - $150.00

• Retired Individuals - $75.00

• Students (20 Years or under) – $75.00

The above dues are for one contact per member. Additional contacts can be added at the rate of $25.00 per person.
